You all know that a client installation of a Julia Buckingham design was my inspiration for the name of my blog. When it came time to craft a logo for this new venture, I knew that I would be calling the talented Lindsey Eckwall.  Lindsey helped Tyler and I select our logo for our brand and strategy firm, Hatched.

Charcoal and gold made sense, the blog is called CharcoalSparkle, after all.  Then it was down to establishing the overall mood of the design.  After she reviewed my creative brief for the brand, Lindsey walked me through several iterations of mood boards.  Never considered myself a “pink” person, but the addition of pink to the palette happened organically as we went through the design process and now I am in LOVE.

Lindsey is designing the main logo, several ads, business cards, etc.  all of which are a bit different than the other from a colorations standpoint.  All true to the established palette and in the family of the logo series pictured here.  She is a dream to work with, so if you ever need graphic design work completed I can put you in touch.  Thank you, Lindsey!
